Overview Outpatient Psych 40 hours per week The Clinical Nurse is an engaged and credentialed member of the Professional Nursing Organization and is responsible for autonomous practice directed by the professional tenets of practitioner, leader/decision maker, scientist and transferor. The Clinical Nurse is responsible for utilizing the nursing process to provide evidence-based care and to continuously monitor and evaluate practice to ensure safe passage of patients that is in the best interest of populations served. This role offers a unique opportunity to be at the forefront of psychiatric medicine, administering groundbreaking treatments like the newly launched SAINT TMS protocol, alongside established, life-changing interventional therapies. This is a small team of 13 nurses and medical assistants. Our suite is a specialized, fast-paced outpatient clinic dedicated to treatment-resistant psychiatric conditions. You will work alongside a multidisciplinary team utilizing state-of-the-art modalities: SAINT TMS: Be part of our brand-new, accelerated Stanford Neuromodulation Therapy (SAINT) protocol, a revolutionary, high-dose iTBS treatment delivered over an intensive 5-day cycle. Theta Burst Stimulation (iTBS / TMS): Deliver cutting-edge, standard-of-care transcranial magnetic stimulation with Magventure equipment. Intranasal Esketamine Clinic: Manage and monitor patients undergoing Spravato treatments in a safe, therapeutic environment. This position assists in contributing to the hospital's philosophy, objectives, educational and Performance Improvement efforts, while providing support to the nursing staff on all units. The House Supervisor may work a shift on a specific unit when all other efforts in filling the shift with other personnel has been exhausted. This position will contribute to department meetings, quality initiatives and maintain services within TJC requirements. Qualifications Education and Training: Holds current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state where the hospital resides. Current BLS and ACLS certification is required. Crisis management certification per hospital policy and standards required. Experience: Two + years of behavioral health experience with 1 year of supervisory experience preferred.
