Job Description: Assists the Director of Nursing Services (DNS) in planning, organizing, developing and directing the daily operations of the Nursing Services Department in accordance with current federal, state and local standards and regulations as directed by the DNS or Administrator. The Registered Nurse Assistant Director of Nursing Services ensures accurate completion of A&I reports and investigations in accordance with policies. Tracks incident trends, performs root cause analysis and develops interventions for accident prevention. Assists with performance evaluation of nursing department staff as needed.
