Following all regulatory requirements, facility policies and procedure, as well as culture based on service excellence. Qualifications Job Requirements: Excellent communication skills, i.e., verbal and written. Ability to prioritize; work well under periods of high stress and pressure. BLS certification and Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) certification training is a requirement of this position and may be obtained during new employee orientation. The Intake/Admissions Clinician position requires: Education: Master’s Degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work or Human Services field, or licensed RN. RN, LCSW, LPC, LMFT preferred. STACKABLE PAY INCENTIVES: This position includes a night shift differential of $4.00/hr , and a weekend premium of 20% . Overview 1+ years of RN experience required POSITION SUMMARY: Protects, promotes, and restores health and wellness by practicing at the highest level of the Registered Nurse licensure, collaborating with Providers and multidisciplinary care team members to provide care coordination across the continuum. Assesses and supports physical symptoms, provides psychological support to patients, friends, and families, mentors assigned team members, promotes best practices, and maintains professional disposition at all times. Will be scheduled and required to work 5 out of every 6 weekends. The RN Hospital Inpatient/ED operates in units that provide 24/7 care in the hospital. Qualifications REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: License/Certifications: Current Registered Nurse licensure by the State Board of Nursing in appropriate state (Illinois or Michigan) Current American Heart Association HealthCare Provider BLS is required prior to start date of employment.
