We focus on invasive hemodynamic monitoring, cardiovascular surgery implementation of mechanical support. CVSU provides post anesthesia care to cardiovascular patients who have received general anesthesia. The CVSU serves critically ill patients 18 years or older. Electronic Medical Records are used to retrieve documents and results prior to surgery as well as perform telephone interviews with patients. About the Job: As a Presurgical Testing Nurse, you are responsible for performing preoperative assessment on patients prior to surgery. You will examine patient records and identify any risks or potential complications that may arise during the operation. What You’ll Do: Assess patient condition and monitor vital signs before, during, and after surgeries. Administer medications and perform wound care as necessary. Provide educational resources to patients about pre-surgical testing and post-operative care. Collaborate with surgeons and other healthcare providers to ensure patient safety is always maintained. Who You Are: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred. New Hampshire Registered Nurse or Compact State Registered Nurse License.
