The Frederick Health Intensive Care Unit (ICU) is a 20 bed, comprehensive medical-surgical unit providing specialized care for patients with critical, life-threatening illnesses and injuries. The unit manages a broad spectrum of high-acuity conditions, including ST- elevation myocardial infarction (STEMI), sepsis, septic shock, hemorrhagic shock and cardiogenic shock.
