Work Experience: Two (2) years’ experience in acute car clinical environments. Licensure: Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the State of Florida or endorsement. Certification: American Heart Association Basic Life Support (AHA BLS) Healthcare Provider Completion Card prior to start date and maintained. Additional certifications to meet unit specific care requirements. Skills/Knowledge/Abilities: Must have knowledge of TJC (The Joint Commission), Florida Nurse Practice Act and other applicable agency regulations. Must be able to speak/understand written and verbal instructions in the English language. Sound organizational skills to include time management and problem-solving Highly developed communication skills, verbal and non-verbal. Maintains professional competencies by attending continuing education programs and participates in professional organizations. Basic computer skills; proficient in Microsoft Office – Teams, Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Work Experience: Previous nursing leadership experience. Certification: National certification in relevant specialty. Nursing administration certification. May be exposed to inside and outside environments with varied temperatures, air quality, lighting, and/or low to loud noise. We offer quarterly education workshops. Position Highlights The Registered Nurse delivers individualized quality nursing care to cancer patients and families in accordance with established hospital guidelines, nursing professional practice model, nursing care standards and policies and in accordance with ANA code of ethics and external regulatory agencies.
