Supports a patient-first philosophy and engages in service recovery when necessary. Supports the efforts of the facility to improve engagement by operationalizing current nursing strategies, including employee rounding, hourly rounds, and other initiatives. About this unit: The Clinical Decision Unit (CDU) is designated 12-bed short-stay unit specifically for observation patients. Patients will be moved and monitored in the CDU post-operatively or when further medical evaluation is necessary to determine treatment plan.
