Responsibilities Utilizes the nursing process and knowledge of scientific principles to provide safe, high quality, comprehensive, and age-appropriate nursing care for patients undergoing Level 0 to 6 surgical procedures in the hospital setting, including managing emergent, complex clinical situations appropriately. Meets the educational and informational needs of the patient and family and advocates for their needs. Maintains an environment that is safe, comfortable, efficient, and family centered during the perioperative encounter. Utilizes current research and evidence for practice to expand personal professional knowledge, enhance role performance, and improve nursing care quality. Qualifications Must graduate from Nursing School with an Associate's or Bachelor's Degree before Jan 2027. Associate's Degree required. The pay for graduate nurses begin around 33.00/HR and increase based on specialty and/or prior LPN/RN experience.
