Key Qualifications & Experience: Active and unrestricted NJ RN license required Previous experience in school nursing or pediatric care is highly valued Strong communication skills to conduct staff training and collaborate with caregivers Proficient with state-required health protocols and school health documentation Organized and able to manage and audit student immunization records Comfortable building individualized emergency care plans Ability to work independently and respond flexibly, including on-call as needed Primary Responsibilities: Deliver general health services and acute care to students during school hours Train staff as epinephrine delegates per NJDOE/NJDOH guidelines Complete immunization audits for all enrolled students before set deadlines Develop and maintain emergency care plans for students with special health needs Serve as a resource for health-related questions or minor emergencies on site Maintain thorough and confidential health records Your consistent presence and expertise will create a safe environment where each student can thrive.
