Job Description The Institute of Continues Learning in the Department of Nursing at SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University is seeking a full-time TH Assistant Director of Nursing / Wound and Ostomy Care Nurse. Supervise and direct the activities of nursing personnel to ensure the provision of wound care to the residents of facility. Monitor the effectiveness of the plan of care through direct observations of care rendered and through weekly wound rounds/ reassessment. Develop plan of care for resident with a current pressure sore, or evaluated as high risk for the development of pressure sores. Provides reports on the type and frequency of wound in the facility.
