Monitors patient revenues and expenses and operational expenses and provides required reports to administration. Ensures that unit facilities and equipment meet necessary standard and monitors utilization of equipment. Facilitates the work of the Professional Nursing Organization, including facilitating the Practice Area Council. Coaches clinical nurses in professional development and engagement in the Program for Advancing Clinical Excellence (PACE) credentialing program. Assures that Joint Commission and other applicable regulatory standards are met in the clinical area. Assures that evidenced based practice and nursing practice standards are achieved in the clinical area. Assumes accountability for maintaining a safe work environment in alignment with Dartmouth-Hitchcock’s commitment to employee safety and regulatory requirements including but not limited to Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and applicable state and federal law.
