POSITION SUMMARY This position plans and provides clinical support to patients and staff. Demonstrates clinical expertise of the assigned area. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Clinical Operations: Dynamic Resource Allocation: Real-time deployment of nursing staff across 134 beds (66 OB + 68 NICU) based on fluctuating census and acuity, ensuring appropriate nurse-to-patient ratios for both stable and critical patients. Clinical Crisis Response: Immediate response to obstetric and neonatal emergencies, neonatal resuscitations, and coordinating multidisciplinary teams. Bi-Campus Coordination: Facilitate patient transfers, float staff between campuses, and ensure equitable resource distribution across both facilities.
