The Nurse Manager collaborates with multiple professionals to support and coordinate the provision / management of patient care. This individual works closely with the Nursing Clinical Director, unit Dyad partner and staff in insuring that the Service/Unit setting maintains the highest standards of patient care and is responsive to the needs of the patient & family as well as the organization. Responsibilities Patient Care Leads nursing practice using the tenets of the Professional Practice Model of Relationship Centered Care and the Care Delivery Model of Modified Primary Nursing for the promotion of the patient experience. Spring Creek is an equal opportunity employer. *Job responsibilities of the RN Supervisor: •Create and maintain an atmosphere of warmth, personal interest, and positive emphasis, as well as a calm environment throughout the facility. •Administer medications and document therapeutic effects •Assist with resident comfort •Direct the day-to-day functions of the STNA's in accordance with current rules, regulations, and guidelines that govern the facility. •Participate in facility surveys made by authorized government agencies as may be requested. •Interpret the department's policies and procedures to personnel, residents, and visitors, and government agencies as required. •Admit, transfer, and discharge residents as required. •Complete accident/incident reports as necessary. •Perform administrative duties such as completing medical forms, reports, evaluations, studies, charting, etc. as necessary. •Report all discrepancies noted concerning physician's orders, diet change, charting error, etc., to the DON.
