Department Overview Family Medicine at Scappoose is a primary care Family Medicine clinic and Rural Health Center (RHC). The patient population includes pregnant people, babies, children, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. The patients are generally moderately stable to moderately unstable, with complex medical conditions and SDOH barriers that require medical and nursing interventions. These include, but are not limited to, oral and injectable medications, foot care, telephone and in-clinic triage, care coordination, health education, complex wound care, pain management, and behavioral and/or crisis management.
