Consistently reviews charts for completeness, in accordance with documentation protocols prior to and after the surgical procedure. Demonstrates the ability to maintain good interpersonal relationships with patients, coworkers, and other health team members. Properly communicates any post-op care instructions to patient and relays appropriate hand off communication to recovery staff to ensure continuity of care. Monitor the operating room ensuring the flow of cases, notifying physicians of any delays, assisting with turnovers as needed, and facilitating effective and efficient transition between cases. Responsible for cleaning and operating sterilizing machine such as steam autoclave for retrievals and transfers Responsible for escorting spouses into collection room to collect, handing off samples to embryology lab and cleaning collection room. Education / Requirements: High School diploma or GED required, and current, valid RN Indiana license BLS and ACLS required PROCEDURE AREA, Fertility, OB/GYN or other women's heath experience preferred.
