Job Description Job Function Summary: Involves the provision of integrated and accessible primary and specialty patient care services in a clinic or center environment. Care is provided by clinicians and assistants who are accountable for addressing a large majority of personal health care needs and developing a sustainable partnership with patients. Ensures optimal patient outcomes through effective leadership and / or provision of patient care delivery in healthcare clinics or centers. Promotes shared decision-making at all levels to ensure a shared voice in practices, exchange of ideas, enhanced communication, and continually improved patient services. Qualifications Required qualifications: At least 5 years of clinical experience in nursing with 2 of those years in a dermatology setting. Minimum of 2 years of nursing supervisory experience in an outpatient clinic familiar with Dermatology diseases. Strong interpersonal skills to create and maintain a climate for effective communication and collaboartive decision making. Able to convey information with authority, handle highly sensitive matters, and interact with high level contacts from other departments/organizations. Strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to explain technical specialty concepts thoroughly. Strong leadership, fiscal, and operations management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with physicians, management, and staff from all disciplines. Ability to create and maintain a goal-oriented climate of teamwork, collaboration, and consistent achievement of objectives. Maintains current knowledge of nursing practices, dermatologic advancements, new methodologies, relevant industry/regulatory compliance, accreditation requirements, medical center health and safety guidelines, and advances in the field of specimen processing, automation, and procedures.
