Overview Under the direction of the Nurse Manager or Assistant Nurse Manager, provides nursing care to critically ill surgical and trauma patients. Must demonstrate competency to perform technical nursing functions; and upholds the standard of practice of a professional nurse in caring for patients. The Registered Nurse is expected to perform all staff nurse activities and functions as charge nurse when assigned.
