Physicians Care is looking for experienced Medical Assistants to join our team in Hoover, AL. JOB SUMMARY: The Medical Assistant provides clinical care to patients in urgent care, occupational health, and workers’ compensation settings. Responsibilities include initial evaluations, x-ray testing, and preparing patients for provider evaluation by recording histories, vital signs, and documentation while recognizing acuity levels for appropriate intervention. Full-time team members work a rotating 36-40 hour/week schedule, consisting of 12-hour weekday shifts and every-other weekend. Our PRN (per diem) team members are scheduled on an as-needed basis. Key Responsibilities As an LPN Nursing Supervisor, you will: Supervise and support LPNs and CNAs to ensure safe, high-quality resident care Conduct rounds and monitor residents’ conditions throughout the shift Provide clinical guidance and support to nursing staff Ensure medications, treatments, and nursing services are provided according to care plans Respond appropriately to changes in residents’ conditions and emergencies Communicate with residents, families, physicians, and the interdisciplinary team Review nursing documentation, incidents, and medication records for accuracy Ensure compliance with facility policies, nursing standards, and state regulations Assist with quality improvement and staff development initiatives Promote teamwork, professionalism, and a positive work environment Qualifications & Skills Active New Jersey LPN License Minimum 2 years of LPN experience Previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred Strong clinical judgment and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and organizational skills Ability to lead and support nursing staff Current CPR certification preferred Why Join Cadbury at Cherry Hill?
