About the unit 9SE is a Level I trauma and post-operative medical-surgical unit that specialized in musculoskeletal conditions including total joint arthroplasty, spine surgery, fragility fractures and multiple trauma. We also specialize in the care of plastic/breast reconstruction surgery. We are part of a collaborative interdisciplinary team supported by many members including case management, pharmacy, physical and occupational therapy, advanced practice providers and physicians. The employee working on this unit will be well prepared to care for patients with a wide variety of co-morbidities while attaining experience with surgical patients coming from the recovery room. Scope of work Provides care to the patient according to the plan of care, unit routine and hospital policy under the direction of a Registered Nurse.
