Responsibilities The Nursing Assistant in the Behavioral Health Unit is an unlicensed, non-certified assistive personnel who supports patient care by performing a variety of basic nursing duties under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse. This role is responsible for assisting patients with activities of daily living, providing basic nursing care to non-critical patients, and maintaining a clean, safe, and therapeutic environment in accordance with established hospital policies and procedures.
