Qualifications Graduation from an accredited school of nursing Required RN - Registered Nurse - State Licensure and/or Compact State Licensure in accordance with the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) for Alabama Required ACLS Required within six (6) months of hire with a thirty (30) day window for renewal from expiration. Required PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support Required within six (6) months of hire with a thirty (30) day window for renewal from expiration. Required TNCC - Trauma Nursing Core Course Required within eighteen (18) months of hire with a six (6) month window for renewal from expiration. Required BCLS - Basic Life Support Upon Hire Required Comparable combination of education and experience may substitute for the above requirements.
