This is a Full time, benefited position as a Lead OR RN over the ortho spine service line. We are looking for someone with Ortho Spine experience with the following procedures: ALIF, PLIF, ACDF, TLIF, LLIF/XLIF, discectomy, laminectomy, foraminotomy, corpectomy, microdiscectomy, etc. The shift is a 10 hour day shift 3 days/week 0645-1730 & 1 day/week 0645-1630 . It is located at Scripps Green in Torrey Pines La Jolla. On Call-varied shifts with 45 minute call back time is required. About the Department: Mercy Behavioral Health Services provides a structured and therapeutic environment to individuals suffering from psychiatric illness, behavioral disorders and chemical dependency. Here at Mercy our dedicated multi-disciplinary team promotes a structured therapeutic program to help those in crisis through evaluation, education, medication therapy, individual and group therapy and relapse prevention. Mercy Behavioral Health offers inpatient and outpatient options for all ages. Upcoming Expansion: Construction has begun to add an additional Behavioral Health unit on site at Mercy South. Qualifications: Education : Graduate of an accredited registered professional nursing program. Licensure : Is personally responsible for obtaining, and maintaining, a current Missouri RN license and/or compact licensure in which nursing duties are performed and must meet all state board of nursing requirements. Physical requirements/demands : Position requires individuals to push, pull, and/or lift 50 pounds on a regular basis. Position requires prolonged standing and walking each shift. Position requires the ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties Certifications : Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire.
