The Clinical Nurse is a registered nurse (RN) who partners with and advocates for patients/families/significant others to provide physical, emotional and spiritual support which impacts patient outcomes in a safe environment. The RN functions in a versatile role that demonstrates professionalism and promotes excellence and autonomy in the practice of Nursing. The RN serves as guide, healer, collaborator, teacher, leader and sentry. The RN collaborates with and guides care delivered by the inter-professional team. Registered Nurse (RN)—Med/Surg and ICU

Job Duties: Works collaboratively with patients, families and other health care providers to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate the care of assigned patients. Follows nursing Standards of Practice to ensure quality, safe patient care. Provides supervisory oversight to assigned staff, and effectively manages supplies, equipment and other resources. Qualifications: Nursing Associate Degree or Diploma required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred. Currently licensed as an RN in the State of Nebraska or Compact state; Current CPR/BLS. ACLS, PALS, and NRP within one year of hire Shift Schedule: Part-Time; 7:00PM - 7:00AM, two 12-hour shifts per week, rotating shifts between Med/Surg and ICU; with every 3rd holiday and every 3rd weekend rotation.
