Other Information MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Active and unencumbered licensure as a Registered Nurse in Arkansas or eligibility through Compact state agreements is required. BSN is preferred. A minimum of 3 years of labor and delivery experience in a level 2,3, or 4 facility is required. Current Healthcare Provider CPR/BLS is required Must hold certification through NCC as RNC-EFM or obtain within 6 months of hire. Electronic Fetal Monitoring Certification is required within 1 year of hire. Completion of an AWHONN Advanced or Intermediate Fetal Monitoring course within the last three years is required. Video Testimonial Job Details Department: 10 A-Oncology Shift: Night Working Hours: 1830-0700 Summary: A Patient Care Associate serves as a technical assistant to nursing on the unit whose primary function is to assist with basic patient care, monitoring, hygiene, and to help ensure care is complete. The nursing assistant works as part of the nursing team on a unit and throughout the hospital to ensure that each and every patient and guest to the hospital has their needs met, whether that need is physical, spiritual or educational. Other Information: Requires High School diploma or equivalent Must complete 12 hours of college credit to promote to next level. May be required to float to another unit/department when necessary. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Needed: Ability to read, write, understand and follow instructions. Basic addition and subtraction skills. The verbal skills to effectively relate to patients, visitors, staff, and physicians. Ability to utilize Epic to chart and monitor tasks to be completed. This job will be authorized 72.00 hours bi-weekly.
