This role is fully onsite at the Employee Health Clinic at UPMC Hanover and works Monday - Friday, 7:00 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. Free parking is provided. This position has primary responsibilities for the direct patient intervention and provision of care for the staff members of the UPMC Health System. This person will be responsible for the provision of all clinical services for the Employee Health program. Responsibilities: Assist in the coordination of medical surveillance programs. Examples of these programs include TB skin testing programs, respiratory protection programs and specific exposure related testing and/or surveillance initiatives. BriteLife Recovery is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to provide care to clients struggling with substance abuse. The Nurse Practitioner will be responsible for conducting client assessments, developing treatment plans, and providing ongoing care to our clients. What tasks are required? Perform initial and on-going assessment of client’s medical, physical, and psychosocial status. Prescribe and monitor medication as necessary for clients in recovery. Obtain and evaluate health and medical history; perform a physical exam, conduct preventive screening procedures based on age and history; Identify medical and health risk. Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to provide holistic care to clients. Complete accurate and timely documentation of observations, interventions, plan of care, referrals, follow-up, and progress in electronic health records. Participate in staff meetings and training sessions as required. What we need from you? Active Nurse Practitioner license in the state. PMHNP/FNP dual-certified 2 years of experience working with clients with substance abuse disorders preferred. Experience prescribing medication-assisted treatment (MAT) preferred.
