Primary Duties And Responsibilities Deliver direct oncology nursing care, including comprehensive assessment, individualized care planning, symptom management, and evaluation of patient outcomes for adult oncology patients and families. The primary nurse may delegate some direct care, data collection, and nursing assessment responsibilities to other nurses and nursing assistants on the team but retains responsibility for ensuring that interventions are carried out in accordance with the participant’s care plan and the orders of the participant’s medical providers. A minimum of one year experience working with a frail or elderly population. Prior experience in interdisciplinary team setting a plus. SKILLS/ABILITIES: Basic physical assessment and triage skills.
