RESPONSIBLE TO: Nurse Practitioner Manager DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Patient Care Delivery Review allclinical documents, labs, authorizations, and orders in advance of visit Timelycompletion ofall clinical reviews,outstandingordersandchartclosures Scheduling, check-in,financialpaymentcollection, and vitals collectionfor patients Prepare and administer medications and treatments perprotocols Monitor and document all assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately and in real time Monitors inventory and proactivelycommunicatessupply/drug needs. Keep infusion roomscleanand well-stockedand ordersupplies as needed. Answer phone calls as needed, adhering to OSHA and HIPAA guidelines. Safety and Compliance Follow infection control, HIPAA, and OSHA guidelines Monitor for and report adverse drug reactions or changes in patient condition Conduct safety checks and participate in quality assurance initiatives Maintain knowledge of emergency procedures and respond appropriately LeadershipResponsibilities Proactively coordinates with NP Manager to ensure adequate staffing andstaffbreaks. Adjustsassignments in response to fluctuating patient volume, acuity, or staffing needs. Support onboarding and precepting of new nursing staff and ongoingskillsvalidation. Provide real-time feedback, coaching, and escalate performance concerns to leadership. About The Role We are hiring Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants with acute care experience in Emergency Medicine, Urgent Care, Internal Medicine, or Family Medicine who are comfortable working both independently and alongside DispatchHealth Medical Technicians (DHMTs) to deliver comprehensive, patient‑centered care in the home. The ideal candidate uses strong critical‑thinking skills, follows evidence‑based standards of practice, proactively identifies and solves problems, adheres to all clinical and safety standards, protocols, and performance metrics, and consistently provides care with compassion, empathy, and cultural competency. Provide procedures including suturing, splinting, wound care, and IV therapy Order and interpret point‑of‑care diagnostics and imaging Educate patients and families on treatment and follow‑up care Navigate goals‑of‑care and end‑of‑life conversations as needed Document accurately and adhere to clinical standards What You’ll Need Current, unrestricted NP or PA license in the state of practice Minimum of two years of experience as an APP in the Emergency Department, Urgent Care, Internal Medicine, Hospital, Family Practice, Cardiac, Pulmonary or other relevant areas National board certification (current) Current BLS / ACLS certification Prescriptive authority and DEA (or ability to obtain within 60 days of hire; assistance provided) Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
