How you make a difference The Nurse Practitioner provides on-site medical services by examining referred patients, conducting clinics, rounds, and responding to urgent and emergency situations. The role delivers ongoing medical care by diagnosing conditions, prescribing treatment plans, managing chronic care, and providing Medication Assisted Treatment services, including induction, follow-up, and medication management. The position documents care, orders and interprets labs, adheres to established policies and formularies, and supports continuity and standards of care within the facility. Key Responsibilities Examine patients, conduct sick call, chronic care clinics, and infirmary rounds, and respond to health emergencies. Diagnose conditions, prescribe and manage treatment plans, and provide ongoing medical and MAT-related care. Conduct MAT assessments, inductions, follow-up appointments, and manage medication continuation and titration. This role assists with assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care under the supervision of Registered Nurses.
