Qualifications Ability to perform medication administration in accordance with State Regs Strong Communication Skills Observes & reports changes in residents' physical condition, cognition & emotional status to Supervisor. Knowledge of, and ability to, adhere to HIPAA policies 
Assists the RN by performing patient care activities delegated to the unlicensed nursing support staff as well as additional specific functions for which he/she has been prepared. Incorporates the concepts of the Hospital's Customer Service Program into all aspects of patient care activities. Accountable to the Nurse Manager or designee for all activities. Education High School Diploma or Equivalent Required Trade School Completion of an approved Nursing Assistant Program or current Nursing student with satisfactory completion of at least one clinical rotation Required or Combination of relevant education and experience may be considered in lieu of degree Required Experience 1 year experience in a Nursing Assistant role Preferred Licenses Basic Life Support Required Assists the RN by performing patient care activities delegated to the unlicensed nursing support staff as well as additional specific functions for which he/she has been prepared. Treats and evaluates patients; administers advanced nursing care in a particular clinical specialty area under the direction of the licensed physician. Performs a wide variety of patient care activities including diagnosis and the prescription of medical therapeutics or corrective measures in collaboration with and under the direction of the licensed physician. Education Bachelor's Degree Nursing Required Master's Degree Nursing Required Experience 1 year experience in a clinical specialty practice Preferred 2 Years Experience As a Nurse Practitioner Preferred Licenses PA Cert Reg Nurse Practitioner Required PA Registered Nurse License Required Prescriptive Authority Preferred Multi State Compact RN License Required Or
