Demonstrates competency to perform both scrub and circulating role in assigned surgical procedures. Utilizes proper body mechanics when moving patients, equipment or lifting trays. Education Training and Experience Bachelor's of Science in Nursing (BSN) is required. Two years OR experience is preferred, however training and specialty specific education programs are provided during orientation and must be successfully completed as scheduled. Perioperative credit course is required for anyone with no OR experience. Basic computer skills: keyboard, mouse use. Ability to complete data entry on clinical documentation screens. Ability to use email and internet. Ability to successfully complete on the job training for CCH computer programs. Ability to practice critical thinking and organizational skills . Ability to understand English. Licensure/Certification Current Pennsylvania RN License. CPR certification required. Certification in clinical specialty (CNOR) is preferred. Job Title/Position : Hospice On Call RN Reports To : Clinical Director JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY : The On-Call Hospice RN is responsible for responding to all of the Hospice patient census and their families, as well as handling any referrals or community inquiries outside of office hours (nights, weekends and holidays). Job Description Nemours is seeking a full-time Registered Nurse to join our Nemours Children's Health team in Wilmington, DE. 3 West is a 24-bed medical surgical unit for patients 0-21 years of age. This unit is designated for orthopedic patients, patients in need of comprehensive rehabilitation and acute rehabilitation of both traumatic brain injury and spinal cord injury, ventilator-dependent patients, and patients with tracheotomies. Additional patient populations include neurosurgical and nonsurgical neurology, and infants transitioning from the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. Neurology and neurosurgical patients are also cared for on 3 West. This unit was designed to provide single patient care rooms to allow for privacy and family presence during the hospital stay. Position is full-time, rotating shifts, 60 hrs in 2 wks, 12-hr shifts, 2/6 weekends, every other holiday. The primary role of the Registered Nurse is to implement the patient care delivery model for the patient and their family. Additionally the registered nurse is responsible and accountable for assessing, planning, providing and evaluating, the care provided to assigned patients.
