This position is a Full-Time Nursing Assistant position working 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week and every third weekend. The position can be cross-trained as needed. The position reports to the Director of In-Patient Services. Qualifications: 6 months’ experience in a health care environment desired Current CPR certification or successful completion upon hire to the position Computer skills to meet the needs of the position High School diploma or equivalent Prefer satisfactory completion of a current Nursing Assistant/Aide course Skill and Ability: Ability to think and work independently and with direction Good teamwork skills Good foundation of clinical skills and knowledge Excellent attention to detail Good communication and interpersonal skills Physical abilities must allow for frequent working, stooping, bending, and frequent lifting and moving of patients All other duties as assigned Premier Vascular Surgeons FT/ DAYS/ 80 hours per pay Summary Of Position The Registered Nurse performs assessment, planning, intervention, coordination, and evaluation of patient care. Nature and Scope The Registered Nurse functions independently within the limits of his/her license and training while contributing to the assessment, implementation, and evaluation of patient care. Qualifications Successful completion of a licensed nursing program. Maintains current nursing license in the State of Ohio with completion of CNE requirements. Prior experience in an ambulatory health care facility preferred. Ability to learn related center tasks and be of assistance to management and physicians. Self-motivated to achieve the highest patient care and customer service standards. Familiarity with the EPIC EMR is strongly preferred. CPR certified within the first 3 months of employment. Thorough understanding of HIPAA law.
