Most work will be in-person, but some sessions may be provided via telehealth. Provide comprehensive primary care services, including detailed histories, physical exams and diagnoses. Incorporate emphasis on preventative care and medical screenings based on established guidance. Order and interpret diagnostic tests, using results to formulate treatment. Treat acute and chronic conditions, with appropriately scheduled follow-up and monitoring. Make referrals to subspecialist care when indicated, then incorporate subspecialist recommendations into comprehensive approach. Prescribe medication in accordance with best practices. Consider range of treatment modalities and interventions that could potentially improve clients’ conditions.
