Anticipates needs of surgeon and surgical assistants in the operating room, passing instruments, sutures, sponges, and supplies needed in an operative procedure. Demonstrates an ability to perform all duties required of a Surgical Technologist in accordance with established procedures and completion of skills check list. Work Experience MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Education: Completion of Health First’s On-The-Job Training Program for Surgical Technician, OR graduate of a program for Surgical Technologist (Military, Community College, or School for Surgical Technology), OR one year of work experience as a surgical tech or surgical assistant Licensure: None Certification: Must hold American Heart Association BLS Healthcare Provider Completion Card prior to start date and maintain.
