In this role, you will provide services across the continuum of care (independent living, assisted living, and skilled nursing). This is a unique opportunity to build and manage an outpatient Primary Care Practice on campus, as well as provide care for our assisted living and skilled nursing residents. You will plan and direct all functions of the resident care clinical area, including but not limited to, management of team members and the day-to-day operations of the practice, managing resident healthcare needs in compliance with federal and state regulations, maintaining knowledge of the long-term care industry and geriatrics through continuing education, and serving as clinical preceptor for Nurse Practitioner students. Pay Range: $45.00/hr.-$52.00/hr. Responsibilities for RN Supervisor: Supervise and coordinate nursing care activities to ensure residents receive safe, effective, and timely care. Provide clinical oversight and support to nursing staff during assigned shifts. Monitor resident conditions and ensure appropriate interventions are implemented and documented. Ensure compliance with physician orders, care plans, and facility policies and procedures. Communicate effectively with physicians, interdisciplinary teams, residents, and family members regarding changes in condition or care needs. Assist in managing multiple residents and prioritize care based on clinical urgency. Support adherence to all applicable nursing regulations, safety standards, and facility guidelines. Promote a positive work environment through teamwork, communication, and professional leadership. Qualifications for RN Supervisor: Must possess a current, unencumbered active RN license in the state of New Jersey . Valid BLS Certification (CPR) required. Ability to manage care for multiple patients in a fast-paced healthcare environment. Minimum 3+ years nursing experience in healthcare, Long Term Care, Subacute setting Minimum 2+ years supervisor experience preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact professionally with staff, residents, families, visitors, and regulatory agencies. Strong knowledge of nursing practices, procedures, and applicable laws, regulations, and standards in nursing care centers.
