Position Status: Full time Shift: 12 Hour Night Shift (United States of America) Hours per week: 36 Job Information Exemption Status: Non-Exempt A Brief Overview Intermediate Care nurses provide direct care or influence care for acutely ill adult patients who are moderately stable with an elevated risk for instability. These patients require a high intensity of care and vigilance. Intermediate Care nurses practice in settings where patients require complex assessment and interventions. These nurses are required to refine their assessment skills supported by invasive/non-invasive technology. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations. (Required proficiency) Licenses and Certifications Registered Nurse - KSBN A multistate license with the ability to practice within the State of Kansas is also accepted. Required Basic Life Support - BLS May be required depending on the department within 90 days of hire date. Other RQI's maybe required depending on the department, within 90 days of hire date.
