Job Description Nemours is seeking a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner or Certified Nurse Midwife to join our Nemours Children’s Perinatal Program in Wilmington, DE. The Nemours Fetal Care Center and Advanced Delivery Unit are expanding the scope of service to include comprehensive prenatal, obstetrical and postpartum care for women whose unborn child has been diagnosed with a birth defect or complex medical condition that will require immediate multidisciplinary pediatric care in the neonatal period. In addition to currently available prenatal imaging to diagnose these conditions, we are also expanding invasive diagnostics and fetal intervention procedures. The NFCC-APP will work with the Maternal-Fetal Medicine physicians, Obstetricians and the entire multidisciplinary team to provide full scope maternal care including prenatal care, postpartum care, inpatient care, assist in fetal procedures in the outpatient setting and in the operating room, and assessment of fetal well-being. In this role, the qualified NFCC-APP will play an integral role in the care and support of these patients throughout their high-risk pregnancy journey into the postpartum period. RN Director of Clinical Services Reports to: Administrator Job Description Summary This is a full time exempt employee responsible for the overall direction of the hospice services. He/she is responsible for the employment of qualified hospice personnel; is responsible for the provision of hospice services, directly, and through the delegation of and coordination of hospice personnel evaluations; is responsible for establishing standards of care to comply with federal and state regulations and guidelines. Ensures actionable objectives are derived from evaluation of hospice services and personnel. 8. Ensures that structure and systems promote interdisciplinary care HUMAN RESOURCES-TRAINING 1. Hires required Hospice staff and ensures adequate and appropriate staffing. 2. Conflict and complaint management and resolution. 3. Establishes and maintains effective channels of communication including integration or technology, as applicable. 4. Ensures hospice personnel stay current with clinical information and practices. 5. Staff development including orientation, in-service, continuing education, competency testing and quality assessment performance improvement. 6. Ensures that interdisciplinary care is provided. 7. Ensures supportive services are available to personnel. 8. Ensures coordination with other departments, services and senior management, as appropriate. 9. Ensures staff and organization stay current on local and national hospice issues and trends. 10. Direct staff in performance of their duties including admission, discharge, transfer, revocation, and provision of service to patients. 11. Ensures appropriate staff supervision during all service hours. 12. Monitors service utilization to ensure delivery of comprehensive care. 13. Ensures actionable objectives are derived from evaluation of hospice services and personnel. 14. Ensures that structure and systems promote interdisciplinary care. 15. Job Description Nemours is seeking an RN to join our team in Abington, PA. The Registered Nurse is a clinically competent practitioner of pediatric and family centered nursing care. The nurse provides safe nursing care to the pediatric primary care and/or specialty care patients with minimal guidance and bases practice on identified principles and standards of care. The RN is responsible for daily patient care, assessment and treatment in collaboration with the clinical medical provider and interdisciplinary team. The RN must be competent in caring for patients with moderate to complex heath issues. Assists nurse manager or administrative manager with administrative issues that affect the clinical practices within the office as well as comply with the administrative policies and clinical protocols. As part of your role, you will be required to support clinics at various Nemours locations in the Delaware Valley Clinical Judgment: Independently develops, implements, evaluates, and modifies clinical practice to meet individual patient and family needs Collects and interprets complex patient data. Focuses on key elements of situation while sorting out extraneous detail and exercises clinical judgment based on an immediate grasp of the whole picture for the patient population of the assigned clinical area Serves as a coach to new graduates and clinical students Cares for patients in the office as well as through telephone triage utilizing pediatric protocols and clinical advice from the clinical provider. If not already obtained, a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) must be achieved within 3 (ADN) or 4 (Diploma) years of date of hire. Current AHA Healthcare Provider (HCP) Certification required.
