This includes floating to MedSurg, Telemetry, Mental Health, Emergency Department, Neurology, Orthopedic, and Spine units, as well as specialized areas such as Courage Kenny Rehabilitation, Cardiac Intensive Care Units (ICUs), Neuro ICUs, and Medical ICUs. This flexibility allows the Nursing Assistant to assist with patient care and unit operations wherever demand is greatest, ensuring consistent support across diverse areas of patient care. Key Position Details: 0.9 FTE (72 hours per two-week pay period) 12-hour night shifts Every other weekend rotation Job Description: Under the direct supervision of a RN, assists in the delivery of patient care. This includes performing personal care such as feeding, bathing, dressing, grooming, moving and transporting patients, or changing linens. Collects and documents vital signs and other observations of patients. Principle Responsibilities Performs personal care/interventions as assigned. Completes interventions according to identified critical elements of each procedure. Answers patient call lights promptly for both assigned and other patients.
