The Nursing Assistant primarily supports nursing functions as planned and delegated by the professional nurse. Assists in maintaining supplies and equipment to enable staff to provide quality and timely care. Reports malfunctioning equipment promptly and removes from patient care area to maintain a safe environment. Participates in and supports continuous improvement initiatives. Other duties as assigned. Skills and Experience: Required: High School Diploma or Equivalent Must be a graduate of an approved Certified Nursing Assistant program and must remain current on the Minnesota State Registry as a Certified Nursing Assistant BLS Certification Demonstrates proper use of all transfer devices and various equipment in the MSP/FBC/ICU departments. We have 45 beds and a yearly census of approximately 67,000 and growing!
