As part of this team, the CRNA is expected to engage in accurate, ongoing patient assessments, communicate with members of the healthcare team, use resources efficiently to deliver optimal care and document care thoroughly in the appropriate records. The North side houses 37 patients, and the South side houses 36 patients. There are two negative pressure rooms with an anti-room. There is a pharmacist present on the unit to assist the RNs with medication questions/concerns. Multidisciplinary rounds occur every Monday through Friday. Rounds involve all aspects of the healthcare team, including the patient and family.
