Identifies patient using name and birth date upon admission to the CVOR. • c. Participates in “Time-out” prior to incision and documents appropriately. • d. Maintains equipment in good working order, reports equipment failure, and initiates corrective action. • e. Labels all medications as appropriate on and off the sterile field. • f. Safely handles various types of drugs and body fluids using knowledge of appropriate standard precautions. • 4.
