Job Description The Adult Medical Transitional unit (30 beds) provides care to a diverse adult patient population with an emphasis on acute and chronic medicine patients. Patients transition from the adult critical care units, Post Anesthesia Care Unit, Emergency Department and acute care floors to this unit, depending on their condition and nursing care needs. Nurses on this fast-paced, high acuity unit are a highly motivated group of professionals providing outstanding care to the entire patient populations served.
