Position Summary Serenity Hospice Care is seeking a compassionate, experienced, and organized Assistant Team Lead RN to support the clinical leadership team and provide guidance to our hospice nursing staff. Monitor patient care to promote continuity, quality, and compliance with the hospice plan of care. Help monitor timely completion of assessments, recertifications, care plans, orders, and other required clinical documentation. Respond appropriately to urgent clinical situations and assist with escalation of patient-care concerns. Qualifications Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of New Jersey. Associate Degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred . Minimum of 2–3 years of professional nursing experience . Previous hospice, home health, palliative care, or end-of-life care experience strongly preferred. Previous leadership, charge nurse, preceptor, or supervisory experience preferred. Current CPR/BLS certification. Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and appropriate automobile insurance. Strong clinical assessment and critical-thinking skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational and time-management abilities. Ability to work independently while functioning effectively as part of an interdisciplinary team. Proficiency with electronic medical records and standard computer applications.
