Responsibilities We are actively hiring for a Day Shift inpatient Registered Nurse (RN) . $15,000 sign-on bonus ; nurse to patient ratio 1:3; three 12-hour shifts per week, weekend coverage every third weekend; 2 holidays per year; rotating call. Our NNPs work collaboratively with flight nurses to provide state-of-the-art neonatal care, utilizing fixed-wing aircraft, helicopters, and critical care ground ambulances throughout Nebraska and surrounding states. Utilizing an advanced nursing process, the NNP will assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, while accurately documenting patient responses and outcomes. This position requires proficiency in neonatal pathophysiology and technical skills, including lab and x-ray interpretation, intubation, line placement, thoracentesis, thoracotomy, and intraosseous access. In collaboration with physicians and referral teams, the NNP must demonstrate strong leadership through nursing judgment, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities. As an advocate for patients and families, the NNP must maintain professional conduct and communication.
