The patient to RN ratio is typically 4:1. A Clinical Nurse in the Seasonal Staffing Program performs Nursing duties, as assigned, throughout certain times of the year in which CHOP's operational needs require additional Nursing staff due to high volumes and acuity ("Concentrated Period"), and flex down to no, or limited, scheduled shifts during other times of the year ("Quiet Period").
