About the Role We are hiring a full-time Inpatient Pediatric Nurse Practitioner for our night team. In this role, you'll provide direct, comprehensive care to medically complex children in our subacute unit, serving as a lead clinical presence overnight and working alongside a tight-knit interdisciplinary team. You'll own the full continuum of care for your patients and play a central role in helping them reach their medical and rehabilitation goals. This is a long-term, career pediatric position. Description The Medical Assistant Team Lead is responsible for assisting physicians with patient care obtaining vital statistics as well as providing clerical and organizational tasks such as appointment scheduling and chart management. Functions in a lead capacity with oversight and mentoring of less experienced Medical Assistants. Responsibilities Directs less experienced medical assistants to specific duties such as obtaining vital signs (height, weight, blood pressure, etc.) and phlebotomy services as needed. Description The Nurse Manager is responsible for the management of nursing practice and operations on a designated unit/service. This includes, but is not limited to, the management of: clinical nursing practice, staff recruitment, retention, labor relations, supply chain and budget, staffing, employee performance evaluation, quality improvement, staff education, medical records, internal and external regulatory and survey requirements.
