Must be enrolled in an accredited BSN program within two (2) years and obtain a BSN Degree within five (5) years of job entry date. Current License to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse in New York State required, plus specialized certifications as needed. The Home Care interventions range from preparing meals, daily showers, taking walks outside, laundry, light Housework, and other personal care interventions. The candidate must have the Ability to speak, write & communicate in English. The Aide is required to be punctual and be on time as scheduled. A Medical Physical,(done within the last 12 months) is needed, and the titers,(MMR & Chicken Pox lab results). also PPD test. A NYS Aide certificate or 2 years experience for other positions.
