A Fred Hutch Cancer Center ARNP/PA-C is a certified physician assistant or advanced registered nurse practitioner who provides evaluation and medical management of multiple service lines of adult oncology patients at our community site at Northwest Hospital. They will actively coordinate the complex care of cancer patients undergoing both systemic anti-cancer therapy and radiation therapy. The incumbent will manage side-effects of these therapies, order appropriate laboratory and radiographic studies; prescribe medications and refer patients to other specialists as necessary. The incumbent may provide for post-treatment cancer patients follow-up visits for the medically indicated period after completion of treatment. The incumbent will also provide psychological support to patients by participating in patient and/or family teaching and refer patients to community agencies and other resources to promote optimal adjustment and functioning. This position requires the ability to lead other clinical staff, be accountable for the work required in this position, the ability to be flexible in a dynamic environment, and the relentless pursuit of excellent patient centered care. This clinic provides a broad range of services including GI, Lung, GU, Breast, and Hematologic Malignancies and Radiation therapy. Responsibilities Performs complex and problem-focused H & P’s Evaluates and manages on-treatment and post-treatment side effects, as well as long-term surveillance and survivorship issues. Performs procedures according to licensure, credentialing, and scope of practice Collaborates and consults with other disciplines and services to ensure safe, effective, and timely treatment as well as continuity of patient care. Participates in the conduct of cancer clinical research Provides patient, caregiver, and peer education Communicates effectively with inpatient and outpatient teams Participates in patient rounds, conferences and committees Other duties as assigned Qualifications Required: Must be a graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner training program awarding a Master’s degree. We work in teams that include doctors from the UW School of Medicine, psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, registered nurses, residents (licensed physicians receiving advanced training), pharmacists, medical assistants, social workers, nutritionists, cultural case managers and interpreters. To be considered for the role, please apply at the following link: Position Details - Academic Personnel & Faculty The Department of Emergency Medicine at the University of Washington invites applications for three (3) teaching faculty positions at the rank of Teaching Associates, with an anticipated start date of September 1, 2026, or thereafter. We seek applicants who demonstrate commitment to excellence in teaching and service in a diverse and inclusive academic community. The successful candidate will join our faculty on a 100% virtual, full-time basis (two (2) at .90 FTE and one (1) at .70 FTE) for a twelve-month, annual appointment beginning September 1, 2026, or thereafter. The base salary range for this position will be $11,544 - $15,630 per month, commensurate with experience and qualifications, or as mandated by a U.S. Department of Labor prevailing wage determination. The Virtual Addiction Care clinic will serve a variety of patients including those over the age of 13, pregnant patients, and those with a variety of comorbidities. Visits are on-demand, low-barrier and synchronous telehealth visits using video or audio-only technology. Interpreter services are available for patients who do not speak English as their primary language. This position will work closely with our Linkage to Care Coordinators (LTCC’s) that help link patients to longitudinal care in their area. This role centers on ensuring that every patient encounter receives efficient, accessible, high quality, respectful and responsive health care for OUD.
