The Medical Assistant in this role will be responsible for supporting clinical staff in delivering high-quality wound care to patients. This includes cleaning and dressing wounds along with monitoring for signs of infection. They will also document care provided, assist provider in educating patients on wound care practices, and ensure all safety and infection control protocols are strictly followed. We're looking for someone who demonstrates strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a compassionate approach to patient care. Job Summary: Core to the ArchWell Health approach is to have a robust clinical care team focused on the needs of our members. ENSURES OPERATION OF EQUIPMENT By following manufacturer's instructions troubleshooting malfunctions entering work orders for equipment repairs evaluating new equipment and techniques. Short Description The Clinical Nurse Manager will provide the knowledge, skill, and expertise necessary to successfully support the day to day operations of the clinical unit. The Clinical Nurse Manager will be responsible to: Oversee assignments. Assist in quality and throughput goals. Support staff engagement by serving the unit in a consistent, supportive, and compassionate manner. Role model/mentor clinical staff to address patient needs effectively. Supports quality patient care and organizational priorities at the direction of the Clinical Director. Identify and support the elements of improved care quality care using HRO principles. Overview Kelemen 8 is a medical-surgical unit that cares for patients with a wide variety of diagnoses, illnesses and disease processes. North and South 8 have telemetry capabilities for our patients. Kelemen 8 has frequent admissions and discharges. Kelemen 8 can accept a total of 77 patients. The North side houses 37 patients, and the South side houses 36 patients. There are two negative pressure rooms with an anti-room. There is a pharmacist present on the unit to assist the RNs with medication questions/concerns. Multidisciplinary rounds occur every Monday through Friday. Rounds involve all aspects of the healthcare team, including the patient and family. Experience Required A minimum of 2 years of clinical nursing experience in an acute care setting, with 1 year of demonstrated leadership abilities. Education Requirements Graduate from an NLN accredited school of nursing. Bachelor's in Nursing Required License/Certification Requirements NJ-RN: Current New Jersey license as a Registered Nurse. BLS & ACLS certification. CNL or AACN Specialty certification preferred.
