Registered Nurse (RN) – Group Home Location: Jamaica, Queens, NY Position Type: Part-Time Shift: Overnight | Tuesday | 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM Position Overview Bond Health is currently hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) for a part-time opportunity in Jamaica, Queens, NY. The RN will evaluate, coordinate, and monitor the health and safety needs of individuals living in a residential group home, ensuring high-quality nursing care while maintaining compliance with all applicable regulations and standards. Key Responsibilities Coordinate medical care and monitor the health status of assigned individuals. Assess, document, and follow up on changes in physical condition and overall wellness. Communicate with physicians, families, interdisciplinary team members, and other healthcare providers. Monitor hospitalizations, emergency room visits, injuries, illnesses, and follow-up care. Attend medical appointments when needed to advocate for individuals served. Develop, update, and maintain individualized nursing care plans and protocols. Oversee medication administration and ensure compliance with medication management procedures. Review medical records, medication administration records (MARs), treatment logs, and related documentation. Monitor dietary and nutritional needs and provide guidance to support staff. Complete nursing assessments, progress notes, and required clinical documentation. Maintain infection control standards and ensure medical supplies are available. Participate in quality improvement activities, meetings, and required training. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Current unrestricted New York State Registered Nurse (RN) license. Current CPR certification. Experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities is preferred but not required. Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and work collaboratively as part of a team. Valid New York State or Tri-State driver's license with a good driving record is preferred.
