This position is required to set priorities based on the situation at hand, and is a combination of direct patient care, management (charge), and education (preceptor) roles with responsibility for a unit during an eight (8) to twelve (12) hour shift. Qualifications REQUIRED: Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing Licensed as a RN in the State of Georgia in good standing without limitations. Must hold Certified in American Heart Association’s Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS). Two (2) years of experience as a Registered Professional Nurse (RN). PREFERRED: BSN degree Two (2) years recent experience in current clinical specialty (i.e., critical care, surgical services, diabetes education, radiology, etc.) Additional Life Support credential (ACLS, PALS, NRP, etc.) or other clinical specialty certifications in specific units.
